There are demonstrations or teaching events, some online via Zoom, on the second Sunday most months.

Beyond the Basics. We hold a Zoom discussion on various topics once a month, look out for the email flyer or see the News section.

There are also occasional sessions for members wanting to take the BBKA Basic Assessment and BBKA Examination Modules.

We also host talks by the Regional Inspector and other experts and have notifications of others in the Middlesex Federation and beyond. These  include the annual Federation Day in early spring with a day of talks organised in rotation by Federation associations.. All members of the association are welcome to get involved as they see fit. We take seriously our obligation to keep up to date with current practice and theory.

We also run occasional Wax Workshops where you can learn to make products from beeswax. These include, candles, soap, polish and cosmetics.

Some of our members are part of a group learning about microscopy for pollen and disease identification.

Throughout the year, the Harrow Beekeepers Association has access to information about a number of courses in the Middlesex Federation and region.
