HBKA Annual Honey Show

Our own Honey Show is on 31st Aug at Headstone Manor. Format change from last year, HBKA Honey show is part of the the Harrow in Leaf Show and the whole event is now the Headstone Village Show and it is for one day only,  Monday 31st August. Show format is to enter one or more classes, 20p per class, £1 minimum. Everybody contributes to the occasion and everyone learns something, no matter how long they have been showing. Downloadable schedules are available, and the entry form is available separately to print. If you have your entry form and money Sarah will be collecting at the Sunday Apiary session on 23rd August. Otherwise you can post direct to the entries secretary by 25th August. Mark your form Harrow Beekeepers as the society to contribute to the society with most entries competition. Late entries accepted to 28th but extra 20p per entry. Your entries can be etirely in the HBKA honey, mead and wax categories or could include vegetables etc. "Staging", which is putting your entries on the table with the number labels provided is on Sunday afternoon or Monday before 10am, judging is 10 to 12 noon and public admitted from 12 noon. Public entry is £1.50, so it's actually cheaper to show and offer to help! The whole event wil include animal petting, food and craft stalls as well as the show exhibits.
