Beekeeping Begginners Course 2019

Just a quick update on this year's course. We are now fully booked and no more spaces are avaliable.

 

 

10th March Education event and HBKA birthday celebration

 

Our next Sunday education session on Sunday 10th March at Hatch End Apiary, the closest Sunday to our actual birthday on 8th March 1919.

 

At 11am, Brian is to give a talk about Asian Hornets. He will discuss the important role of beekeepers and the public in looking out Asian Hornets and reporting them if found, as well as how to make Asian Hornet traps.

 

Beekeeping Beginners Course 2019

The HBKA Beginners Course starts on 30th of March and runs for two weekends. These are held in our Hatch End Apiary where you will learn about and how to handle bees under guidance of our very experienced tutors.

The cost of the course is £140 and includes both Saturday classroom and Sunday morning practical sessions. Hot and cold drinks will be provided :)

Beyond the Basics – Thursday November 29th 2018 

 

AGM 2018

The HBKA AGM will be held on Saturday 10 November 2018 at Hatch End Scout Hut, Grimsdyke Road, Hatch End HA5 4PH at 7pm. It will be followed by our annual dinner and social. See email circular for the agenda, minutes of the last meeting. Please read the documents before coming to the meeting. If you would like to come to the meal, please reply to Gloria, details on a separate email.
